North State Food Bank
The Agency administers North State Food Bank in a multi-county region; including Butte, Yuba, Sutter, Glenn, Colusa, Plumas and Sierra Counties.
The North State Food Bank operates as a part of America's Second Harvest, the Nation's Food Bank network. Surplus food is donated by large providers and distributed throughout the country via a network of affiliated food banks.
The North State Food Bank operates from our Oroville warehouse through a network of volunteers and nonprofit organizations. Food resources are available at very low cost to member organizations of the Food Bank. To become a member, click on the links on this page for application information. New products are received frequently. In addition, surplus food that is made available by the Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program is distributed to individuals each month at locations throughout the North State.
